A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where can I find a pair like yours?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and snagged them that way!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How much do they run?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.

How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Are they comfortable?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also look great.

I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
